Since 2017, South Bronx United has been a Charity Partner of the TCS New York City Marathon. Each year, SBU has received five to seven slots to provide to runners who receive guaranteed entry to the Marathon while raising vital funds to benefit SBU youth programs in the classroom and on the field.
South Bronx United runners commit to raising a minimum of $3,000, due in full by October each year. In addition to the fundraising pledge, SBU runners are responsible for completing the TCS New York City Marathon race registration fees through New York Road Runners. Runners will have access to an online fundraising platform through Rallybound to support and track the campaign.
South Bronx United uses soccer as a tool for social change and aims to help youth build character, teamwork, and leadership so that they can succeed in high school, college, careers, their community and beyond. Help further that mission by running with South Bronx United in the TCS New York City Marathon.
